Fractals
In entrails,
on boulevards,
over seas,
played through a tube amp;
cut by laser lights
in the shape of butterflies,
fell from many stories
over unsuspecting heads,
blood coins posited
into a bathroom sink;
before I was here;
before you were here;
before any of us
were here, there was
Paradise
on Earth,
placed on a trivet
with steam rising up
from somewhere deep
within
the coiled intestine
of a tuba,
the hollow atrium
of a pepper,
the gold trick
of twilight,
the dancing atoms
in our legs.
