CAMERA 1A: MAIN ENTRANCE
The Black Pearl® Ferry docks at Pirate’s Cove® harbor. 200 passengers unload. A large group wears black caps with half-circle ears and t-shirts printed with patented cartoon characters on them. Seniors make use of the rope hand railing. A girl in a jean jacket, a boy in a brown hoodie, and identical twin brothers in matching t-shirts with patented yellow faces popping out of pink frosted donuts unload together. Everyone follows signs with golden arrows and the word SUPERTRAM on them. A made to look washed ashore wooden sign points in the opposite direction with a light blue arrow. SKELETON CREW® CAVES 1.5mi is carved below.
CAMERA 18D: SUPERTRAM/WESTBOUND/CAR 3
26 passengers wobble and flatten against their seats on a sharp turn. A senior woman with binoculars tied around her neck clutches the arm of the large man seated next to her.
The twin brothers talk facing each other. Girl in the jean jacket stares out a window. Boy in the brown hoodie ties his left shoe, stops, discovers under his chair a patented black cloaked action figure with a black helmet and glowing red alien sword. He wipes it off with the sleeve of his hoodie. Puts in hoodie pocket.
CAMERA 96M: MINNIE’S DINING COMMONS/MAIN DINING HALL
A full dining hall. Waiters with patented pink-and-white polka dot female mouse bowties fastened to the hems of their aprons balance platters stacked with steaming brunch items: Belgian waffles, House Pancakes, Seven® Ingredient Omelets, and bacon. Smiling faces.
A child twists around in his chair to watch as a straining waiter delivers to him a towering triple-scoop sundae coated in chocolate syrup. A pin with a patented, smiling mouse rests on top. The child reaches for the sundae with his hand. His mother tries to move his hand. His hand hits the side of the dish. The waiter drops the dish, startled, the whole thing falls to the floor. People from other tables stare at the child’s now red shrieking face. A few minutes later, another triple-scoop sundae is placed in front of the child.
CAMERA 119P: GUARDIANS/ELEVATOR SHAFT
A group of teenagers enter a dim room with a raised, gray metal box lined with three rows of seats. Waist and wrist buckles dangle from the arm rests. Two workers dressed entirely in black come from the sides and buckle them in. A large LED screen plays a loud, colorful preamble based around a patented science fiction superhero franchise, which contextualizes why they have been selected to sit in this elevator shaft, slowly ascending to the top.
CAMERA 119S: RIDE CAM
The box stops its climb, then drops down the elevator shaft in a controlled, motorized plummet. The faces on the teenagers are what some might call “priceless.”
CAMERA 119E: GUARDIANS/EXIT
The teenagers stumble out. The twin brothers jostle back and forth. The boy in the brown hoodie hangs back examining the action figure. Girl in the jean jacket is crying. Girl in the jean jacket gets the attention of the others, points to a hallway with a restroom sign above it. The twin brothers nod vaguely.
CAMERA 130: LADIES RESTROOM
Girl in the jean jacket stands at sink, splashes water on her face, checks herself in the mirror. She dabs her forehead and cheeks with her right sleeve.
CAMERA 119E: GUARDIANS/EXIT
Twin brothers walk out EXIT marked doors. Boy in the brown hoodie looks around, looks behind himself down restroom hallway, then follows the brothers.
Girl in the jean jacket emerges from restroom hallway. She looks around, calls out. She walks back down the restroom hallway—
CAMERA 119F: HALLWAY
—Arrives at three doors. She looks in the direction she came from, then tries the door on her left. It does not open. She tries the middle door. It opens.
CAMERA 119H: STAIRWAY/ENGINE ROOM
Girl in the jean jacket descends flights of pleated industrial stairs.
CAMERA 119J: ENGINE ROOM
Girl in the jean jacket enters the engine room. Wires and fuse boxes. Constant machine drone.
Two workers dressed entirely in black stand over a worker dressed in a yellow shirt with a patented, smiling, humanlike dog on it. Worker in the yellow shirt has blood on his face and uses his hands as he talks. One of the workers dressed entirely in black takes a gun out of his tool belt and looks at it. While the worker in the yellow shirt is mid-sentence, the worker dressed entirely in black shoots him and a red dot appears on yellow shirt’s head. He drops on his back. The other worker dressed entirely in black says something to the one with the gun. The worker with the gun turns, sees the door to the engine room closing. Both workers look at each other. They sprint to the door.
CAMERA 119H: STAIRWAY/ENGINE ROOM
Girl in the jean jacket runs up stairs.
Workers dressed entirely in black pursue.
CAMERA 268A: INSIDE OUT UPSIDE DOWN RIDE/LOW ANGLE
A chain of vibrant ride cars whips through a tunnel, blows back the hair on the riders, all of whom hang upside down, blood filling their clenched faces.
Beneath the ride, girl in the jean jacket runs, phone pressed to her ear, head moving in every direction.
Two workers dressed entirely in black follow.
CAMERA 244F: WEST PARK/REFRESHMENTS
The twin brothers each have chili dogs®. Boy in the brown hoodie moves the arms on his action figure. The three sit at a picnic table. Boy in the brown hoodie stops moving the arms to reach into his pocket to answer his phone. He speaks a word into it, then pulls it away from his ear. He tries to speak into it again, and again. There is no answer.
CAMERA 503ST: SUPERTRAM/WEST PLATFORM/NIGHT CAM
Twin brothers and boy in the brown hoodie stand on the West Platform. Boy in the brown hoodie moves the arms on his action figure. He makes it like the action figure’s sword is slashing.
CAMERA 504ST: SUPERTRAM/EAST PLATFORM/NIGHT CAM
On the opposite platform, two workers dressed entirely in black arrive on the UP escalator with a girl in a jean jacket sandwiched between them. She has her head lowered. The workers look around the mostly empty platform.
CAMERA 503ST: SUPERTRAM/WEST PLATFORM/NIGHT CAM
Boy in the brown hoodie calls over to the two workers and the girl.
CAMERA 504ST: SUPERTRAM/EAST PLATFORM/NIGHT CAM
The two workers and the girl do not answer.

Boy in the brown hoodie takes a few steps closer to the edge, calls to them again, bends more at the waist.

The workers look to see if the Supertram is coming. Girl in the jean jacket tries to look at boy in the brown hoodie. Workers turn her to face away.
CAMERA 505ST: SUPERTRAM/TRACK CAM
Supertram headed East pulls into station.

Boy in the brown hoodie and twins run to DOWN escalator.

Workers dressed entirely in black holding girl in the jean jacket walk toward the approaching train.
Supertram pulls into station.

Supertram pulls into station. Two workers dressed entirely in black with arms around girl in the jean jacket get off. Boy in the brown hoodie and twins get off. Pursue.
CAMERA 801: SKELETON CREW® CAVES
Two workers dressed entirely in black drag a girl in a jean jacket by her wrists, throw her to the sand floor of a stalactited, tidal-facing sea cave. A harsh offshore searchlight flashes every few seconds. Tide crashes behind them. One worker takes out his gun, points it at girl in the jean jacket, who is curled in the wet sand. A flying object hits the worker in the back of the head. He drops his gun. Twin brothers tackle the worker who did not have a gun. Boy in the brown hoodie picks up the dropped gun, gets on top of the worker who was holding it, pounds the butt repeatedly against the worker’s head. Girl in the jean jacket stands, moves to the back wall of the cave. Both workers dressed entirely in black lie motionless on the ground. Girl in the jean jacket runs to the twin brothers and boy the in brown hoodie. They hold her.
Tide crashes behind them. Searchlight flashes every few seconds.
My name is Brooks Harris and I am a sophomore at DePaul University, currently studying theatre arts in the theatre school and minoring in creative writing.
